How do I sell fake floral arrangements?

I recently began making fake floral arrangements and found I%26#039;m really good at it. I have a glass jar in my room I filled with sand and rocks and different types and colors of flowers. After seeing mine, I went with my friend to Michael%26#039;s and I made one for her because she really wanted one too. This weekend, I just made a fall wreath for my mom after she saw a similiar one in Michael%26#039;s. Instead of paying $65 for it, we bought the stuff and I made it for about $20-$25. Both my friend and my mom said I should start making these and selling them but I%26#039;m not sure how to go about advertising that I make these. How should I get the word out there that I make these fake floral arrangements?

Hi, my first suggestion would be to get yourself some business cards. I make and sell Fabric Wall Art, and being a stay at home mum i do not have a very big budget for advertising so i got my business cards from http://www.vistaprint.com and they are rather cheap. I live in Australia and they cost me $9 for 250, you can choose from so many premade templates they have, all you have to do is put your own info on it. These guys are worldwide so i does not matter where you live.

You could do the craft stalls ect as already suggested, but the best thing to do would be get your own website. There are ecommerce place like http://www.etsy.com ect that you can sell on that do not charge to much. I am very lucky that my friends husband works it IT and has done me my website http://www.kimtdesigns.com for free. I would not have it otherwise because i could not afford it. I also go through www.shopify.com. It was free to start with but now they charge a monthly fee. I am not sure what your budget is, so do check out http://www.shopify.com as it is a really good site to build your own website and it is very easy.

Well i hope this has helped you a little and if you need anymore advice you can email me at my website. Have fun From Kim @ Kim T Designs
Reply:have you tried ebay?
Reply:That is great! Around this time of the year, there are lots of cities or civic groups who have boutiques or craft faires. Think about going outside of your own city when checking. Most times there is a fee to set up a booth. Also, craft shops will sell your arrangements on consignment. Don%26#039;t use the word fake, but silk flower arrangements. If you have friends that do crafts, you could do a boutque in house. Fix it up like a store. Tag items so you know who gets the profit from that item. That can be done with flyers. Maybe, high schoolers can pass them out for a small fee. This is right up my alley. Good Luck!
